The FBDMA Spring Lecture this year will be given online via Zoom on Friday 26th March 2021, at 7.00pm. Linda Bankier, Berwick Archivist, will speak on “Archives Revealed – Unlocking Berwick’s Borough Archives”. During the last two years, an extensive cataloguing operation, as part of the Twixt Thistle & Rose project, has been providing the means of discovering the contents of the town’s archives. Linda will explore some of the topics and personal stories which have been brought to light in the course of this work.
Anyone who wishes to join this online talk should send an email request to berwickarchives@northumberland.gov.uk Instructions for joining the meeting will then be sent out shortly before 26th March.
The lecture will be followed by a short session for FBDMA members to conclude the formal business of the 27th Annual General Meeting for 2020. The results of voting on the annual reports and elections to the Committee will be announced.
