The online catalogue of Berwick Borough Archives is now live for searching. Much of the work to create the entries has been carried out in the Twixt Thistle & Rose project over the last two years. The records can now be searched in the online Northumberland Archives catalogue at this address:

To browse through all of the Borough Archives material, go to the Advanced Search screen and enter in the RefNo box: BA* You can also combine this code with subject words in the Title or Any Text boxes to limit your results to the Borough Archives records.
There are several thousands of records there now and more will be added week by week. This marks a major step forwards in the accessibility of information about the Record Office’s holdings.
